In 1906, The George Hyman Construction Company began its construction operations in Washington, DC. Through competitiveness and a commitment to consistently meeting the needs of its clients, Hyman grew to become one of the nation's most experienced general contractors. In 1977, OMNI Construction was formed to respond to the demand for merit shop contracting by the private development community in the greater Washington, DC area. For the next 18 years, the two companies continued to grow and expand their services and capabilities. In 1996, Hyman and OMNI merged and operated as a private company, The Clark Construction Group, Inc., for nearly eight years. As of July 1, 2004, The Clark Construction Group, Inc., converted its name and legal status to Clark Construction Group, LLC.
